SITS9 The Stories In Trance Collection - Spectra: Part Black

SITS9 The Stories In Trance Collection - Spectra: Part Black

Now at the end of our eleventh year, SIT wrap up Spectra - The Stories In Trance Collection - with this, the ninth and final part.

Our belief in the project was clear from day one. We think the strength of a label is in its diversity and over the years have presented work covering a wide range of flavours within the trance genre, and sometimes beyond. We have worked with a global roster of talent, all featuring because of their vision and imagination, and encouraged to express that within their work with little interference from us. The results have stood the test of time, not only garnering support from some of the scene's biggest names but featuring prominently in sales charts and online plays. So what better way to pay tribute to the uniqueness of our story than to share with you our favourites from every single release on SIT.

This is a little bit of all of it. This is Spectra - The Stories In Trance Collection. And we bring to an end this story with part Black, the best of releases 161 to 178. How it was, as it is, so it goes...

Stories In Trance - Chapter 78 (End Of 2021 Special)

STORIES IN TRANCE - CHAPTER 78 (END OF 2021 SPECIAL)

We return for the sixth and final edition of 2021 with our extended End Of Year Special. We feature a carefully selected batch of some of the finest that the trance world has produced over this last year, with some real big hitters showing they've still very much got it in their locker!

Here's what's inside... Orjan Nilsen, Mauro Picotto (taking the honour of our final SIT Special Mention of 2021), a beautifully delicate offering from Johan Gielen, two Ferry Corsten productions back to back (retro flavours for a DT8 Project remix followed by fine work with Leon Bolier), Dary Adams, SIT favourites Klubbingman & Andy Jay Powell, Roger Shah with Stoneface & Terminal, Ruben De Ronde & That Girl, A.R.D.I., an absolute cracker (and one of the best tracks of the whole year) from Breakfast, the usual high quality from legend M.I.K.E. Push, and a supercharger from Ralphie B to end our business for the year.

This is trance finery at its most, well, finest. Exquisitely mixed, with no agendas or pushing sponsored content, you'll not find a purer selection showcasing the best trance from 2021 anywhere. This is how it should always be, just the very best in trance. And simply, this is what Stories In Trance is all about.

SIT 178 Vaali - Another Truth

Released on Friday 12th March 2021.

Stories In Trance are back for 2021 with this sensational new release from Vaali! This is SIT 178 - the two track single Another Truth, including the Original and Matt Mancid remix.

Up first is the Original mix. Vaali follows on from his recent remix of Matt Mancid's Ad Astra with this brilliant original creation. This time out Vaali offers up a more progressive style, as superb melodic touches are perfectly complemented by the captivating vocals to create a beautiful atmosphere wrapped in an engaging dynamic structure. It all comes together to create a truly sensational track! Another exceptional addition to Vaali's immense discography, and a great release to start 2021 for SIT.

On remix duties is Matt Mancid. After his excellent recent original production Ad Astra (SIT 177) Matt returns with this epic remix. A genuinely talented producer, Matt shows what he's capable of yet again by blending several elements of his diverse production style to create this trance masterpiece. Yes, it is that good! Superb progression is offered up by well defined layering leading to a proper climactic peak, this is a showcase of expertly crafted melodic and vocal elements all combining to deliver a big time piece of trance.

Another release that once again shows why Stories In Trance is the most diverse and individual label in trance. Always driven by the ideals that we started out with set alongside our unparalleled attention to detail, we encourage freedom of expression from all involved in our projects. The end result is pure, undiluted creativity. Because of this, and above all, we are proud to put them out there.
