SIT 170 London & Niko - Siren

Ten years of Stories In Trance, and the tale continues with SIT 170 from London & Niko, with the two track single Siren.
Leading off is the original mix, by SIT legend Craig London and this time it's a collaboration under London & Niko. Alex Niko hails from Iran and he and Craig have been making some great tracks together over the last couple of years. Here they follow on from their last appearance on SIT, the superb remix of Danny Legatto's Back To Me (SIT 167), with this excellent original creation. Expertly combining a melodic and energetic feel with perfectly balanced atmospheric layering results in this perfectly defined, superbly uplifting slice of trance.
On remix duty is another SIT legend, Arthur Valiev, under his familiar and well regarded Vaali alias. Following on from his most recent work, Arthur Valiev's double A-side Obsidian / Quartz (SIT 168), he carries on his top form here with this fantastic production. Much like all Arthur's work this track shows off his immense production technique and wide range of abilities, this time taking the remix down a unique proglifting route. Arthur knows how to create and implement great melodies and here the fabulous lead is backed up expertly by rich atmosphere, beautiful piano layering and effectively complemented all the way through with an ever evolving structure that will have you hooked right from the start.
Another release that once again shows why Stories In Trance is the most diverse and individual label in trance. Always driven by the ideals that we started out with and our ever keen attention to detail, we encourage freedom of expression from all involved in our projects. The end result is pure, undiluted creativity. Because of this, and above all, we are proud to put them out there.
